How SmartLip0™ Works

The SmartLipo™ MPX laser-assisted lipolysis system is a highly efficacious solution for destroying and permanently eliminating fat cells.

Dr. Miller inserts a laser fiber through a small incision, delivering energy directly to subcutaneous fat cells- causing them to rupture. This energy also coagulates tissue, thus inducing collagen retraction and tissue tightening. This tightening effect is particularly remarkable for the neck area.

The laser causes small blood vessels to coagulate immediately—resulting in less bleeding, swelling and bruising than conventional liposuction, for faster healing and recovery.

Given the small size of the laser fiber and the gentleness of the procedure, Smartlipo™ is a minimally invasive treatment that only requires local anesthesia—enhancing patient safety and reducing the likelihood of side effects.
